Recover Balm

Propolis:
A potent anti-wrinkle and antimicrobial ingredient made by the worker bees. Bees use propolis to build, repair, and strengthen the hive. They seal openings with it, forming a barrier against pathogens thanks to antimicrobial properties. Applied to the skin, propolis extract effectively scavenges free radicals, protects from photo-induced oxidative stress and visibly fills and smooths wrinkles and fine lines.
Blackcurrant Seed Extract:
This powerful anti-inflammatory calms and regenerates damaged and ageing skin and protects the skin barrier from environmental aggression.
Sea Buckthorn Oil:
Rich in vitamins A, E, C and K, used topically as a natural treatment for burns, scars and skin types that are sensitive or prone to dryness or acne. The oil both reverses UV free radical damage whilst reducing inflammation and skin redness.
Castor Bean Oil:
A vegetable-based oil containing 90% ricinoleic acid, an unusual fatty acid that inhibits the growth of many viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and moulds. For this reason, castor oil is recommended as an antimicrobial, for acneic skin, ringworm, keratoses, warts, scars, and fungal infections. Castor bean oil reduces inflammation and increases skin immunity.
Shea Butter:
Helps retain the skin’s natural moisture content without “choking” it as mineral oils and petrolatum would. Also helps protect the skin from harmful UV radiation.
Lavender Essential Oil:
One of the gentlest essential oils to calm skin, it is also a powerful antibacterial agent to protect from post-treatment infection.
